The Braves

Les Voiles des Braves is the bronze interpretation of the monumental sculpture created and installed by Anilore Banon on Omaha Beach, on the shores of the Normandy landings.

Conceived as a tribute to courage, the work unfolds like a movement carried by wind, tides, and memory.

Installed on one of the most symbolic sites of the 20th century, the monumental sculpture honors not only the soldiers who landed on Omaha Beach, but also the universal human capacity to face fear, cross darkness, and move toward freedom.

Created ten years after the monumental sculpture, the bronze edition, cast in an edition of eight, seeks to preserve the spirit of the original work on a more intimate scale, where memory becomes tangible, alive, and deeply personal.

The Brave

The Free Women Les Femmes Libres reimagines iconic sculptures from our collective memory , Bourdelle’s Archer, Giacometti’s Walking Man, Rodin’s Thinker through female bronze figures. The series  seeks to challenge cultural bias by placing women in postures traditionally associated with authority, thought, power, and responsibility.
