THE BRAVES
In 2004, creation and installation of a major work of art entitled "The Braves" on the mythic Omaha Beach in Normandy; this comprises a set of three monumental sculptures in homage to courage. “The Braves” became the official sculpture of the 60th anniversary commemoration of the World War II Normandy landings. The sculptures are still visible on the site of Omaha Beach. On high tides, the sea comes across the sculpture.
In 2013, a special stamp with the Braves has been edited by the French Post Office for the 70th anniversary of the Normandy landing (1944-2014).
LES BRAVES
En 2004, création et réalisation des Braves, un ensemble de trois sculptures monumentales en hommage au courage, installées en 2004 sur la plage mythique d’Omaha Beach en Normandie (France), oeuvre qui deviendra la sculpture officielle des célébrations du 60ème anniversaire du débarquement. Les sculptures sont toujours visibles aujourd’hui sur le site d’Omaha Beach. A marée haute, la sculpture est traversée par la mer.
En 2013, un timbre a été édité à l’image de la sculpture par la Poste française pour le 70ème anniversaire du débarquement et de la bataille de Normandie (1944-2014).
